Census takers were not all that accurate. From other sources it is known that there are
some errors here. One error is the birth year of James W.Thurman. It should be 1858,
NOT 1857. Also the correct ages should be (corrections are in red):
James W. Thurman, age 42, Emma Thurman, age 16,
Hattie P. Thurman, age 14, Lucy Thurman, age 12, Claude E.
Thurman, age 10, Raleigh W. Thurman, age 5, Mabel Thurman, age 2 and Adel
Thurman, age 2.
