IN LOVING MEMORY
MILDRED FRANCES SELF

Mildred Frances Self, Age 21, 1937.

We, the children of Mildred Frances Self, dedicate this Smith Genealogy Program to our sweet, precious mother who started out life as Frances Mildred Self and ended up as Mildred Frances Self. (Read Frances Mildred Self's Story). We loved her more than life itself. She went on to be with the Lord at 12:55 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, on 21 SEP 2003. Her entire life was an example to us all. We tried to emulate her life in our own lives. She was an upstanding, moral, Christian lady, one who really practiced the golden rule. We cannot recall once when she gossiped or said anything bad about another person, be they Christian or unbeliever. She held our family together through good times and bad; her example taught us how to weather the storms and vicissitudes of life. We learned that there are moral absolutes based on the teachings of Christ which lead and point to the way of the Cross. Mama, please know that we think of you daily. We will never forget you in this life and plan to spend eternity with you in Heaven.

There never was a finer person in our generation, a Saint of the Living God.

We, your children who love you dearly, bid you Godspeed and farewell, for always,
Rita Yvonceile Smith        (Mickey)
Barbara June Smith        (Bobby)
Donald Bernard Smith        (Nardy)
