medical school. Dr. Christopher Columbus Self was a Lt. Col. in World

War I as a medical doctor. Later he became a Pentecostal minister and

Uncle Floyd served in World War II in the Naval Air Force

from JAN 1942 to JAN 1946. He reentered the Navy in 1948 and

served in Norfolk, Virginia, Brunswick, Georgia and had some

overseas tours of duty. It is unclear when he was discharged from

the Navy. If he served for twenty years, he would have been

discharged in 1963. At some point, he entered a Naval or VA

Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia from which he was discharged

in 1969.
