I received the following email from Jennifer Johnson on 12 DEC 2007.
I was very pleased to receive the email and pictures as I was able
to look upon the photos of Dumbleton relatives, especially
Lillian and Grace Dumbleton. My grandmother, Elsie Elnorah Green/Self,
daughter of Alice Elnorah Dumbleton, used to correspond with Lillian
and from whom she obtained a Dumbleton genealogy. Lillian said that
she copied it out of a Dumbleton Bible that her sister Grace Elnorah
Dumbleton had. This was in 1965 and she said that the Bible was
then 128 years old, therefore, it must have been started in 1837. I
noticed that Marion Irene Dumbleton was in the two wedding photos
taken in 1948. She died just three years later, in 1951, at age 47 years.

My husband, Jesse Kevin Johnson was born in Wild Rose, WI, 1 Nov 1956.
His parents: Harold Kenneth Johnson born 9 April 1924, Milwaukee, WI,
died 17 Feb 1993 in Iola, WI. Married Pearl Nettie Franke on 21 May
1948 in Plainfield, WI. Harold's parents were Earl Alfred Johnson born 7 Aug
1903 in Manawa, WI, died 12 Mar 1967 in Juneau, Dodge, WI and married
MARION IRENE DUMBLETON on 14 Apr 1923 in New London, WI, born 20 Jan
1904, Waupaca, WI, died 6 April 1951 in Plainfield, WI.
We are unsure of who some of the people in some of the photos are.
The one with Dorothy says it was taken in St. Paul and the other
people are listed as grandpa and ma, don't know if they are
Dumbletons or Johnsons. There are two of Harold and Pearls
wedding, and we are unsure of who the other three people are
in the one photo. Laurel Ann is Pearl's daughter from her
first marriage, Jesse's oldest sister. I'll try to send more
soon. That is about all I have of Marion and her sisters. We
have very few pictures. I think I do have a couple more of
Pearl. And some of Jesse and siblings.
